Topper now lets you pay for crypto with PayPal (available in the US and the UK). Just link your PayPal account once, pick a funding source (your PayPal balance, bank account, or debit card), and you’ll be ready to buy in seconds
Before linking your PayPal account
Make sure the name, country and email address on your PayPal account match the ones
on your Topper account. Mismatches may result in failed transactions.
How do I link my PayPal account to Topper?
You can’t use PayPal for your first Topper order, even if you’re in a supported region. To link your PayPal account, you’ll first need to complete a Topper order using one of the other available payment methods.
- Start a Buy order in Topper.
- Select PayPal as your payment method.
- Review your order on the Review Order screen.
- Select Buy with PayPal. Topper opens a secure PayPal window.
- Log in with your PayPal credentials.
- Select the funding source you want Topper to use (balance, linked bank, or debit card).
- Save your PayPal details to link the account for future orders.
- Review and authorize the payment within the PayPal window. PayPal redirects you back to Topper, where PayPal now shows as a saved payment method.
Important Note
The PayPal link is tied to the specific funding source selected in step
6. To use a different funding source within PayPal, unlink your PayPal
and repeat these steps.
How do I unlink my PayPal account?
- Go to the Preferences Center.
- Select Payment methods.
- Find the PayPal entry (only one PayPal account can be stored per Topper account).
- Tap the (three dots) and choose Disconnect account (red).
- Confirm. PayPal is removed.
You can now link a different PayPal account or re-link the same account with a new funding source.
Common issues & limitations
