Recurring orders

Learn how to set up, manage, troubleshoot, and cancel automatic weekly or monthly crypto purchases using the Topper widget.

Eligibility for recurring orders

Recurring crypto orders are currently available only for customers living in the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), and Europe (EEA).  

Customers living outside of the US, UK, and Europe (EEA) cannot set up a recurring order at this time.

How to set up a recurring order

You can set up automatic, recurring crypto purchases to buy weekly or monthly.

1. Click the menu in the top-left corner when completing a crypto order (the menu defaults to "Buy once").  
2. Choose the preferred purchase frequency (weekly or monthly). 
3. Select the preferred payment method.  
4. Click “Pay Now” to complete the first crypto order. A confirmation screen will appear once the transaction finishes.

What happens if a recurring order fails?

If a scheduled purchase fails, the outcome depends on the failure type:

Insufficient funds, card issues, and KYC restrictions

1. If a transaction fails due to insufficient funds, card issues, or Know Your Customer (KYC) restrictions, the system skips the current order and will not retry the failed order.
2. The recurring order status remains Active.
3. The system automatically attempts the next scheduled crypto purchase at the next scheduled interval (for example, the following week).

Crypto deposit failures

1. If a crypto deposit fails, the system automatically changes the recurring order status to Inactive.
2. Check the associated email account for a notification regarding the crypto deposit failure.
3. Select the link provided in the notification email or navigate to the Topper widget menu to set up a brand-new recurring order.

How to manage or stop a recurring order

You can review your automatic purchases or cancel them any time.

1. Go to the Preference Center and select Recurring Orders.
2. Switch between the Active and Inactive tabs to find the specific crypto orders.
3. Click on any active recurring order to view order details, including the assigned payment method, order schedule, and purchase history.
4. Scroll to the very bottom of the order details screen and click the red "Stop recurring order" button to cancel all future purchases
