If you're seeing a message that your Topper account has been restricted or closed, here's what that means and what happens next.
If your account is restricted
A restriction is usually temporary, while we review a transaction or verify some details on your account.
If we need more information from you, we'll email you. Check your inbox and your junk or spam folder. Reply with what we've asked for; that's the fastest way to resolve the restriction. If we don't hear back, we may move forward with closing your account.
If you haven't received an email from us, no action is needed on your part. Your account is simply pending review.
If your account is closed
Accounts can be closed for a number of reasons, including not providing requested information or a breach of our Terms of Use.
This decision is final.
Will I be told why?
We'll let you know when your account is restricted or closed, and in most cases we'll also explain why. However, in some situations, legal and regulatory rules prevent us from sharing further details about a closure; This holds even if you ask for more information.
