When you make a purchase on Topper, we process your payment and send the crypto to your wallet. If something goes wrong at either step, your order can fail, or it may just need a little more time.
To see exactly where things stand, check your order status first. See How do I check the status of my order? for how to find your order details page.
Why your order failed
- Payment failure: no payment was taken. See the specific error below.
- Crypto delivery failure: your payment was taken, but we couldn't send the crypto. If your order status shows as Refunded, we've already processed the refund on our end (your card issuer or bank may then take up to 3 business days to reflect it in your account).
My order is still processing
Most orders complete within minutes, but some take longer. If your order is still processing after 24 hours, contact our support team.
Payment failure
- Insufficient funds: Check your account balance and make sure you have enough available, then try again.
- Card declined by your bank: Contact your bank first, they can usually tell you exactly why it was declined and clear it. If they confirm there's no issue and it still fails, try a different payment method. See What payment methods are accepted?
- Card expired: Use a valid, non-expired card.
- Card not supported: Try a different payment method. See What payment methods are accepted?
- Needs manual review: Contact our support team, this decline needs a closer look.
- Request timed out: Try again in a few minutes. If it keeps happening, contact our support team.
- Service temporarily unavailable: Try again shortly. If it persists, contact our support team.
- Deposit limit reached: See Transaction limits
- Unexpected error: Contact your card issuer for specifics. If the issue continues, contact our support team.
